Darlene Kenny is a native Louisianian who has resided in St.Tammany
Parish since 1981. She studied art at Steeple Galleries 1972-74; and
joined Baton Rouge Fine Arts Academy to begin her studies in
"The Style of the Grand Masters" under the tutelage of Larry Casso
in 1998. Darlene paints in multiple media,
watercolor being her passion.
"The number of hours applied to the creation of a painting is the
pleasure of painting", says Darlene.
"Sitting back to examine nature, researching the subjects
and studying the works of other
artists allow the nuances of each specific image
to become its own creation."
