SARAH FERGUS GALLERY

Sarah Fergus is a Louisiana artist who has lived in Baton Rouge all her life.
She has always pursued creative and artistic interests. For many years she has focused on painting and
has studied with Larry Casso at the academy using a variety of mediums and techniques.
Louisiana landscapes, painted in a realistic style, are among her favorite subjects.
The wealth of subject matter and inspiration found here has influenced many of her paintings.
Watercolor is her usual medium with a strong emphasis on the effects of light and shadow.
Her paintings are exhibited in local and out-of-state collections and galleries.
She as competed and exhibited paintings in many local and out of town galleries and has completed many commissions.
Sarah is an active member of the Louisiana Art and Artists' Guild and the Associated Women in the Arts organizaton.
