This is a collection of paintings I completed in 1973 that were influenced by my lifetime love
affair with the city of New Orleans, the place of my birth. After painting that great city
for over 40 years, I discovered two other Southern Seaports - Charleston and Savannah -
and was impressed with the cultural, geographical and architectural similarities
these cities had with my birth place. This inspired me to plan a major watercolor exhibit
" Southern Seaports " with 24 original paintings. The exhibit emphasizes the particular
ambience of each city with a significant cultural and historical commentary.
The following portfolio gives samples and sizes of each painting. They are all framed
identically: Gold frames, linen matts,Gold filet on the inside and museum mounting.
The entire 24 paintings are available as a complete set. To purchase them or for any other
information please feel free to contact me through the contact link.
